Backflip folding chair

Designed by Gudmundur Ludvik, the Backflip chair is a versatile and flexible seat intended for everyday use.

Its design allows it to be stored, hung up or taken out and positioned easily as required, without compromising either comfort or aesthetics. Combining aesthetics with technical performance, it is the result of a particular focus on functionality and ergonomics, with its form deriving directly from its materials and construction.

Made from solid wood with a moulded plywood backrest, its simple appearance conceals a sophisticated mechanism integrated into the backrest, allowing the chair to fold and unfold in a fluid motion – giving it flexibility and ease of use. Available in natural beech and a range of coloured finishes, it fits easily into both private and public spaces, for everyday or occasional use.
