Monkey 3 — Adrien Rovero

Graphic search of drawings "Doodles" in which the designer operates a digital machine and his random calculation program inspires this series.  The lines describe strange faces that always have 2 circles symbolizing the eyes. These carpets, which have both the formal and the conceptual form and dimension of portraits, can find their places in our domestic universe in many places. Acting as a kind of pet, their color ranges are inspired by the faces of monkeys, hence their names: Monkey Carpets.  Wool handtufted. Latex backing and cotton lining.
