Chic cham is founded in march 2010 by Pauline Martinet and Annabelle Dentan. 

After a ten year friendship, Annabelle Dentan and Pauline Martinet created chic cham in 2010. They decided tobuild up a brand that combines their love of fashion and natural materials with the skills of Indian craftsmen.

"Our creative process is without constraint. We like to emphasize natural materials like cotton or wool. The qualityof the product and its imperfections are an essential human value to our work. For this first collection, we havenotably adapted materials such as seersucker by giving it a new use and therefore a real modern identity.’ - Annabelleand Pauline, chic cham’s creative duo." 

Annabelle Dentan (Director general - Fashion design and blogging)
Born : 1971 in Geneva, Switzerland.
Education : architect and interior design. Annabelle is fascinated by Japan and Japanese tattoos.

Her fashion inspirations : Isabel Marant, APC, Miu Miu,Acne, Current/Elliott.
Her favourite artists and architects : Charles and Ray Eames and the Scandinavian and American architectural movement of the 1950s, India Mahdavi, Sanaa, Herzog & de Meuron and Tracy Emin. Her favourite music : hip hop.

Pauline Martinet (Artistic director – fashion design and graphics)
Born : 1983 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Education : Visual Arts at ECAL, Lausanne, Switzerland.

In fashion, she loves timeless creations, beautiful materials and craftsmen.
Her favourite artists : Claude Cahun,Kara Walker and Louise Bourgeois. She loves the Bauhaus and objects with a history, reading Hervé Guibert,Christophe Donner, Patrick Millet. In winter, she listens to baroque and opera music. The rest of the year, sheprefers rock and black music from the 1920s to the 1960s.
